Description

The Manitowoc 000007724 Ice Machine Water Level Probe works by electricity conduction which senses when water reaches a certain height in the trough. When the liquid comes in contact with the metallic sensors, a low-voltage circuit is closed, and the control board will stop the fill cycle and start the ice-making process. This component is placed directly within the water sump space and is placed close to the evaporator assembly to ensure continuous contact with the reservoir. Proper sensing is used to make sure that the machine has right volume to harvest properly without spilling over.
