Baxter 01-1000V9-00149 Rack Oven Hot Surface Ignitor

The Baxter 01-1000V9-00149 Rack Oven Hot Surface Ignitor operates by generating the heat required to ignite the gas supplied to the burner system during the appliance startup sequence. When electrical current passes through the ignitor, its surface temperature rises to a level capable of initiating combustion upon contact with the gas-air mixture. The ignitor works in coordination with the oven's ignition controls to support burner activation and the transition into the heating cycle. This part is installed within the burner compartment of compatible rack ovens, where it participates in the ignition process associated with routine cooking operations.
