Montague 03480-0 Top Grate 18"

The Montague 03480-0 Top Grate 18" is a replacement cooking surface that is used in commercial ranges and griddles. It offers a flat and level surface to pots, pans, and cookware to allow the heat of the burner to spread evenly across bottom of the vessel when cooking. The grate is mounted directly over the burner area and provides support to cookware at the correct height with spacing of flame and airflow. In the kitchen appliance system it combines with the burner and support structure to make sure that there is uniform heat distribution and that it is consistent in performance.
