Description

The APW 2P-21748501 Tensioner Sprocket 17-tooth is used to control the tension of the chain by steering the chain and ensuring the same engagement throughout the operation. It reacts to load variations by a spring-loaded or fixed mounting interface which keeps slack constant and alignment constant. The component is placed in the drive chain line in the power transmission system next to the sprocket run. The match standard chain profiles are built to fit the existing mounts and shafts.
