Description

The Southbend 4851-1 Ignition Module is a control component that is used to regulating the sequence in compatible commercial gas appliances. It controls the amount of spark required to ignite the burner and also controls the monitoring of the flame during operation. This module is used in restaurant kitchens and other foodservice facilities to support the safety operation and startup of ovens, ranges and other foodservice equipment. It is installed in the ignition system of the unit to ensure proper operation of the burner by coordinating the timing of ignition and establishing the presence of flames which contributes to overall stability of operation.
