Description

The Southbend 4858-1 Temperature Control with Potentiometer 120V is a variable thermal control component that fits in a compatible commercial cooking or heating appliance. It measures the temperature of the system and can adjust the desired temperature with the built-in potentiometer and can send control signals to heating components through feedback. The unit is attached to the appliance in the control panel and linked to the electrical and heating circuits. It controls the amount of heat produced by switching heating circuits on or off to hold the desired range of operation when being used normally.
