Description

The Hoshizaki 4A1428-01 Defrost Thermistor is used to detect the temperature changes in refrigeration units and sends a signal to control board to start or shut down the defrost cycle. It senses the amount of ice that is present so that the system can keep the defrost setup at the right time. This sensor is mounted directly on the evaporator coil and it constantly measures the temperature changes to assist in the defrost cycle and aid in the desired functioning of the refrigeration system.
