Description

The Hobart 714268 Thermocouple 18" is a flame sense system that is used in detect the presence of pilots flame. It is mounted next to the pilot burner, and is exposed to heat to create a signal that keeps the gas valve open in normal operation. In case the pilot flame goes off, the signal is terminated and the gas is automatically turned off to avoid conditions. This thermocouple is usually fitted in kitchen ranges, ovens etc of kitchen equipment.
