Description

The Blakeslee 73836 Door Safety Switch is an electrical switch for use with compatible commercial kitchen equipment. It is mounted in the door assembly and senses the position of the door and shuts off the equipment when the door is opened. This will prevent moving or heated components from operating when access panels are open, which will protect operators. The switch is a vital component in ensuring working practices and equipment compliance requirements used such as mixers, dishwashers, and processing equipment. It is usually during maintenance that the response of the switch is not consistent or when the circuit is not working.

Controls electrical circuit continuity based on dishwasher door position. The Blakeslee 73836 Dishwasher Door Safety Switch monitors the door status and opens or closes the electrical contacts according to the door position. When installed within the door assembly, the switch interfaces with the dishwasher control circuit to support proper cycle operation and door-position monitoring.

Equipment Compatibility:
Designed for use with compatible Blakeslee rack conveyor dishwashers and related warewashing systems where the specified door safety switch configuration is required.
