Description
The Garland CK02-008 Ignition Control Box is an essential Oven part of commercial kitchen equipment used with natural gas NAT and liquefied petroleum gas LP equipment. This control box is essential in the ignition sequence and it assures safe operation of the oven. The control box also checks on the presence of the flame. If the flame is not sensed within a set time, the control box will try to relight the burner, which is normally done severally. In case the flame does not catch when the gas is released several times, the control box will cut off the source of the gas to avoid danger.

Step1: Turn off gas oven and power supply before servicing; confirm system is isolated.
Step2: Remove old ignition control box and label wiring, and tag wires for reference.
Step3: Mount the new securely to panel using mounting hardware.
Step4: Reconnect wiring per the schematic, ensuring correct polarity.
Step5: Restore power and gas, test ignition cycle, observe flame ignition.
Step6: Check for gas leaks and abnormal operation; shut off if disputes, ventilate area if a leak suspected.
