The Beverage Air 501-137B Evaporator Fan Motor 120 V 60 Hz is a spare part to be used with commercial refrigeration units. It activates the evaporator fan to push the air around the refrigeration space to keep the temperatures and the cooling efficiency at their better. The motor is placed in the evaporator part of the appliance and it works to provide a constant stream of air, which will assist in the proper exchange of heat and eliminate hot spots or improper cooling.
