Description

The Sporlan FBV1-4C Expansion Valve controls the flow of refrigerant into the evaporator by responding to changes in temperature and pressure. The 1/4 inlet and 3/8 outlet of this copper valve are designed to be used as an inlet to the refrigeration and air conditioning systems. It is commonly installed in line with the refrigerant flow of the system and is placed between the condenser and the evaporator to regulate the flow and assist the entire thermal operation of the system.
