Description

The Attias G-170 Thermostat 48" 3/16" X 14-3/4" 300°F-650°F FDTH-1 is a mechanical temperature controller that uses a capillary tube and a bulb, which is filled with fluid, which expands or contracts to open or close an internal gas valve. This is a reaction to the temperature variations in the cooking space, which keeps it at a constant temperature between 300°F and 650°F. The 48-inch capillary lead is used to connect the sensing light to the control dial, and it is possible to place it strategically within commercial appliances where it is to monitor the heat.

Step1: Disconnect electrical power and shut off the gas supply to the equipment.

Step2: Allow the unit to cool completely before servicing.

Step4: Carefully remove the sensing bulb and capillary tube from their mounting locations.

Step5: Install the new thermostat, routing the capillary tube without sharp bends.

Step6: Secure the sensing bulb in its original position and reconnect the wiring.

Step7: Reassemble the panel, restore power and gas, then verify temperature operation and calibration.
