Description

The Garland G01969-1 Range Safety Valve is an essential safety device intended for commercial gas appliances with a 3/8 “FPT connection and a 3/16” tube. This valve works through the interruption of the gas supply to the burner so that gas is only supplied whenever there is a flame, which prevents the development of explosive gas. Flame failure is prevented by the valve, which closes the supply of gas, hence increasing safety in the kitchen areas. Step1: Ensure the gas supply is shut off and the appliance is completely cool.

Step2: Remove the access panel to reach the existing safety valve.

Step3: Disconnect the gas line, thermocouple, and any attached fittings carefully.

Step4: Remove the old safety valve from its mounting position.
