Description

The Groen 090787 Combination Oven Vacuum Breaker 3/8" NPT is a mechanical plumbing valve that prevents contaminated water from backflowing into a clean liquid supply. It works by utilizing an internal floating disc that drops to open an air vent when fluid pressure falls, breaking any potential vacuum siphon within the plumbing line. This atmospheric control component is threaded directly into the rear water intake manifold or boiler lines of commercial combination ovens. The assembly opens to atmospheric air pressure immediately upon water supply interruption to isolate the cooking chamber steam lines from the main facility drinking water infrastructure.
