Description

The Johnson Controls H91DG-2 Solenoid Valve controls the flow of natural gas or liquid propane by opening, and closing in response to a 25-volt electrical signal. It operates as a normally closed gas control component that regulates gas supply during equipment operation. This valve is installed within the gas line of compatible commercial cooking equipment, including gas-fired equipment, where it operates as part of the gas control assembly. It connects to 1/2" FPT inlet and outlet fittings and supports the controlled delivery of gas during operating cycles.

Step 3: Install the valve in the correct flow direction using approved pipe sealant on threaded connections.

Step 4: Secure all electrical wiring according to the equipment wiring diagram.

Step 5: Restore power and gas, then check for leaks with a soap solution and verify proper valve operation.
