Description

The Hobart 00-088196-00028 Slicer Circuit Breaker Thermal Overload 2A works by detecting the electrical current passing through the bimetallic strip that becomes hot and bends when the current is more than the set limit. This mechanical fault causes a mechanical trip to be triggered, and it is used to properly stop the delivery of power to the downstream components. The part is installed into the main control box or electrical panel of the appliance to ensure that sensitive motors and internal wiring are not severed by heat.
