Description

The Cleveland FA95007-1 Retaining Ring is designed to be installed in a groove on a shaft or a housing, whereby the components are firmly fixed but can be moved either in a rotational or an axial direction where necessary. Installing is a simple way of enlarging the bit and fitting it into the groove. It is designed to fit into the shafts, bearings, or other assemblies that are cylindrical in shape and where the space is limited, and so needs a compact fastening method to give a consistent alignment and containment of the mechanical parts it is attached to.
