Description

The Montague 1025-1 Gas Valve is used with NAT / LP gas systems and has a connection of 3/8 “FPT. It has a width of 2-1/2 inches and is suitable for Montague models 115, 115A, 2-115, R85, and more. This safety valve regulates the flow of the gas to the appliance and has a pilot outlet of 1/8” FPT and a 1/4” CCT inlet. It is safe and reliable for use in gas-powered equipment hence making it suitable for use. It is also possible to use a #26-1397 connector for connection to 1/8” MPT to 1/4” CCT fittings.

Step1: Turn off the gas supply and unplug the oven before starting.

Step2: Remove the access panel to access the existing pilot safety valve.

Step3: Disconnect the gas line and any wiring from the old valve.

Step4: Remove the old valve and install the new one securely in the same position.

Step5: Reconnect the gas line and wiring, ensuring tight connections.

Step6: Replace the access panel.

Step7: Turn on the gas, check for leaks, and test proper operation before use.
