Description

The Imperial 33883 Spark Electrode and Flame Sensor is a 5 inch part that is used as the ignition spark electrode and the flame sensor in ovens. It triggers the spark that will start the burner and at the same time checks the presence of a flame to provide safe operation. It is fitted close to the burner assembly and it is connected to the control system of the oven to ensure that the ignition takes place and the gas flow is stopped in case no flame is detected. This is a dual-purpose part that is necessary to ensure that the ignition and performance are consistent when using the oven.
