The Cleveland FK1038811 Immersion Heater Element W/Thermowell OC 1-3PH is designed to heat by passing electrical current through the resistive coils which are directly immersed in the liquid to be heated for warm transfer. It works by dissipating energy in the surrounding fluid continuously to increase the temperature of the liquid, while the electrical input is three-phase. The built-in thermowell houses a liquid-temperature sensing probe for liquid-temperature input to the control system and to regulate heating cycles. It is mounted in the tank assembly of compatible equipment with a 2-1/4" on-center mounting arrangement and electrical connections are connected to the power and control terminals of the unit.
