Description

The Southbend 1182565 Griddle Thermocouple 48'' is a part that translates heat from the pilot flame into an electrical signal that keeps the gas valve open when working. Once the fire is lost, the signal is gone, and the flow of the propane is cut off to prevent the supply of the fuel. This is installed close to the pilot assembly within a component to detect the presence of flames. The length of 48 inches enables one to pass a route through the unit to access the control connection without alteration.
