Description

The Southbend 1056400 Coaxial Thermopile is a vital component that is used to transform the thermal energy into electrical voltage that is used in gas-powered cooking appliances. This thermopile is 36 inches long and has a range of 250 to 750 millivolts and is used as a safety and ignition control system that detects the heat of a pilot flame and uses a small electrical current to activate gas valves or thermostats. It is coaxial and stable with better heat transfer which makes it suitable in commercial kitchens. It is easy to install and accurate and assists in safe and consistent burner operation in ovens, ranges, and other gas appliances.
