Description

The Southbend 2662A8701 Range Thermostat S-Type is a temperature control part that is used in the compatible appliances. It detects the presence of heat in the cooking chamber and controls the burner to ensure that the temperatures in the appliance are kept at 150 to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. This thermostat is installed at the ends of the control panel and is connected to a sensing bulb installed in the cavity to turn the gas on and off when the temperature changes. In restaurant and institutional kitchens, it can be used as a main heat control system.
