Description

The Silver King 33338 Freezer Defrost Thermostat is a temperature-regulating control part that monitors internal cabinet conditions and manages the switching sequence for cooling and frost cycles. It contains a sensing element that reacts to heat changes inside the evaporator unit and electrical contact movement when set limits are reached. This switching action directs power flow between cooling activation and frozen initiation paths within the control circuit. It is mounted within the control housing, where it interfaces with wiring terminals linked to the refrigeration system, maintaining coordinated temperature cycling between freezing phases and frost removal intervals inside the enclosed storage chamber.
