Description

The Star Mfg Y1646 Thermostat is a temperature-regulating part designed for use in compatible commercial foodservice equipment. It works by using a sensing bulb and capillary assembly that, detects the heat level and activates the appropriate electrical circuits according to the set temperature. The thermostat controls the operation of the heating elements by switching them on, and off as the temperature rises or falls to stay within the 200°F to 375°F range. It is fitted into the control section and forms part of the temperature control system which controls cooking operations.
