Description

The Star Mfg Y7249 Burner Valve controls the flow of gas by spinning an internal stem which opens or closes the passage in the valve body. When the valve is switched on, the gas is permitted to flow to the burner or it is turned off at the inlet. This is an inline burner valve that is normally installed between the gas manifold and the burner assembly. It has a 1/8-inch NPT threaded connection that can be used with standard gas fittings. The gas control system uses the valve manually in the process of ignition, adjustment, and shutdown.
