Description

The Johnson Controls Y75AA-3 Flame Sensor Probe 1-1/4" works by sensing the presence of a pilot flame by spark rectification in which the ionized gas in the fire is used to complete an electrical circuit. This part provides a continuous signal to the ignition control unit, which enables the gas valve to be open only when a flame is present. The hardware is attached to the assembly directly, with the 1-1/4" tester tip being placed strategically in the flame path.
